My name is Kās and I am a music producer, filmmaker and community arts organizer from St. Louis, Missouri and currently based in New York City. I am a graduate of The New School with a B.A. Culture & Media Studies, with a minor in Urban Studies. My work merges my artistic passions to explore the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, love and loss to cultivate community. My primary passion as an artist is capturing the experiences of our vibrant community of artists who are queer Black, Indigenous and brown.

Through my work I am constantly asking these questions: What does it mean to be alive, really? How does it look? How does it feel?

I believe that creating space for our lived experiences is a radical act, especially as the world attempts to erase us. I also believe that bearing witness to ourselves and to one another through art is a sacred methodology for interrogating our surroundings. My mission is to harness music, film and shared creative spaces as tools for guiding us in the process of understanding each other, and for understanding ourselves.
